On the afternoon of September 26, Professor Fang Quan, Dean of the Faculty of Law at the Macau University of Science and Technology, led a delegation including Course Director Mu Xiaobo, Associate Professor Peng Yunpeng, and Assistant Professor Guo Yiting, to pay a visit to the Law School of Beijing Normal University. They were warmly received by Professor Liang Yingxiu, Dean of the Law School, Professor Yuan Zhijie, Vice Dean, Professor He Dan, Vice Dean, and Ms. Yu Luping, the Foreign Affairs Secretary of the Law School. During the visit, both sides engaged in thorough and fruitful discussions.

He reminisced about the inception of the collaborative relationship with the Macau University of Science and Technology, providing a detailed account of the rich history of the Law School of Beijing Normal University, its substantial student population, and its distinctive research strengths. Dean Liang conveyed his aspirations for both institutions to further enhance their engagement in the realms of talent cultivation, scientific research, and the establishment of disciplinary platforms. He underscored the potential for such collaborative efforts to significantly contribute to the advancement of legal education within the Greater Bay Area.

Since its inception in March 2000, the Faculty of Law at the Macau University of Science and Technology has seen rapid growth and stands as one of the most prominent law schools in the Macao Special Administrative Region. Engaging in this exchange with the Faculty of Law at the Macau University of Science and Technology is instrumental in fostering collaboration between our institution and the legal sector in Macao.
