To intensify the reform of the diversified dispute resolution mechanism, establish a modern litigation service system, further bolster the capacity of the people's courts in dispute resolution and public service, and forge a distinctly Chinese model of dispute resolution and litigation services, the Supreme People's Court and Beijing Normal University have collaboratively initiated the People's Courts Research Base for Comprehensive Governance of Social Contradictions and Disputes. On March 23, 2022, the inaugural ceremony of this research base was conducted with great fanfare at Beijing Normal University. The base endeavors to synthesize a variety of elements, including legal, psychological, and social dimensions, to address conflicts and disputes.
